Autism, just like any chronic health condition, is the result of genetic predispositions interacting with modifiable environmental factors. The key is to identify the contributing factors in each case. Some of the common factors include nutrient insufficiencies, toxin exposure and impaired detoxification ability, food allergies, intestinal yeast overgrowth, infections, and low cholesterol.
